Photographs and memories wanted

Andy Cliffe writes: "Both myself and my parents are from Audlem. I live in Churchfields, Audlem, and I am in the process of trying to compile information with the view to creating a CD providing a historical look of Audlem.
"It is my intention to sell the CD to raise finance for ADAS (Audlem District Amenities Society), The British Heart Foundation and to cover the costs of each CD.

"To continue its construction I need more photographs of Audlem dated pre-1980. Memories from the older Audlem residents of past incidents will also be considered for inclusion – in that way they can be preserved in the annuals of Audlem history.

"I will scan the photograph into a computer and return the photographs in the condition in which they were lent. On completion it is hoped the CD will enlighten both visitors and residents, giving an insight to our village history.

"If people are willing to lend their photographs to me please contact me on 07904 162361 and I will arrange collection and their safe return after the scanning process.
