As Paul is an Audlem boy, I would like everyone to see how much progress he has made as an army musician (leaving home at the age of 16). He has been posted to various places in his career, and has now come to end of being the Musical Director of the Household Cavalry Band, as seen in the photos of today s Trooping the Colour.

On Monday he rises to the rank of Lt Colonel (from Major) and takes command of the massed bands in London. He will be conducting at the Remembrance Service in the Albert Hall and also at the Cenotaph in November.

We are very proud of what he has achieved and wish him all the best for his new role.
