This tribute was sent via Oxley's from Adele Dudley's family

As some of you may know, Adele Dudley, our wonderful wife & mum, has tragically passed away from a fast acting cancer aged 54 years, Adele passed away quickly, with little pain and a huge amount of dignity.

Adele was born in Eccles, brought up in Wistaston and spent her last 5 years in Audlem.

We all really appreciate the amazing support we have been given from members of Audlem, and from her huge network of people she has touched and who cared greatly for her.

Adele spent her whole life helping others, whether that being her lifelong career as a nurse, or providing for her family and friends, the perfect mum, wife and friend. Adele was the most remarkable woman. She lived a brilliant life to the fullest, left us with no regrets, provided her children with the most perfect lives and had 29 years in a perfect marriage.

Her funeral is at 1pm on Friday 1st December at St James' Church, Audlem, her burial will be at Audlem cemetery and afterwards we invite all of her friends to celebrate her life at The Bridge Inn. Adele wanted people to try to wear a little bit of colour or at least navy blue, and in lieu of flowers, kind donations received in Adele's memory will be given to Cancer Research UK.

Listed below are just a few of her many achievements:

* A senior nurse with expertise in A&E, midwifery, renal care, infection control and continuing care for the elderly

* Supervised the discharge team in Leighton Hospital, where she massively increased the rate of patient discharges

* Set up a new proactive practice for elderly admissions at Leighton Hospital, freeing up beds by returning patients home asap after treatment and being praised for her work by the head of the Trust.

* Worked for ADCA in Audlem during the Covid pandemic, providing shopping services for the elderly

* In charge of the catering for the 2022 Overwater Marina music festival, and for the Audlem 2023 chilli fundraising night

* Led a UK Jury to help obtain a guilty verdict for a violent case in a difficult trial.

* Massive help for her children at school, helping her youngest in particular through some very difficult times

* Brilliant mum overall to Libby, James and Ben, and wonderful wife to Tim
