An evening of Music on Saturday with a 3-course meal and bar raised £740 for the lifeboat charity, the RNLI.
The party was held in the garden of Mike and Daleta Harthern in Monks Lane and was raising money for the Porthdinllaen Lifeboat which is based at Morfa Nefyn on the Lleyn Peninsular in North Wales.
All the available tickets were sold and party-goers enjoyed Jazz by Jokers Wild and folk music from Front Row Plus.
Rod Cotterell thanked everyone for their magnificent support and noted his astonishment at having organised an event where there wasn't a spot of rain!
Local RNLI fundraisers will have a stall under the Buttermarket this coming Saturday selling cards and other RNLI items. It will be there from 9.00am until 1.00pm.
