Park View Business Centre goes green.

Park View Business Centre on the Combermere Abbey estate between Nantwich and Whitchurch is pleased to announce the completion of three significant GREEN INITIATIVES.

The growing business centre has moved its Mains Electrical Contract to Ecotricity – Britain's greenest energy company. As the only energy provider supplying all of their customers with power generated from the wind and the sun, this is helping to make Park View Business Centre more sustainable and effectively carbon neutral.

In addition, a significant investment has been made in a 109kW installation of Solar panels so that the business centre can generate and use as much of its own electricity as possible.

Lastly, an electric vehicle charge point has also been installed. This is available to people working at the centre, as well as anyone else in the area needing to top-up their EV battery.

Peter Beckett, Director of Park View Business Centre says: "We have taken the strategic decision to invest in sustainable improvements wherever relevant. These changes will help us to move with the times and be a small part in getting the country to meet its net-zero goal for electricity generation.

Any tenant coming to take up space with us can rest assured that their office carbon foot-print is now negligible. This is a better way to operate and succeed in the future. We look forward to welcoming new tenants for whom this policy is important.
With more than 6 tenants with electrical vehicles, an onsite charge point has been a popular move.

Our location means that other people passing through or resident in this part of Cheshire can have access to a local charging point in the neighbourhood"

an Dunnstone from IDDEA whose company installed the 109kW Solar PV system says "Making use of the South facing roof at Park View Business Centre was an obvious win for the organisation and we were delighted to get the job completed in record time despite poor weather conditions. It's terrific to see companies like this making this type of initiative a priority."
