Queries were raised by members of the public concerning finances, Turnpike Field FIT application, the alleged fraud investigation, dates of meetings and a memorial to Dr Thornton.
The budget and precept were discussed at length, with agreement to an increase in the precept to allow for a £10,000 contingency in the budget to be available for the benefit of the village.
Repairs to the monument in the square are needed so quotes are being sought and the possibility of grants are being pursued.
The Waste bins in the car park are now locked, which has resolved the problem of fly tipping adjacent to them.
Work on overhanging tees on Turnpike field to be progressed before the commencement of the nesting season. Consideration is being given to seeking consultants to advise on preparation of a Land management Plan for Turnpike Field.
APC intend to organise a meeting of village organisations to discuss requesting Cheshire East to suspend car parking charges for certain days of the year when village events are being held.
