Oxtail & Trotter is joining forces with Rose Petals & Rice for a "Feastival" at Number 11

The 15th Audlem festival is nearly here, the programme is packed with what looks like a superb line up of performers.

We are very excited to be hosting some of the acts in the courtyard at Number 11 and to ensure we create that festival atmosphere for you we have teamed up with Rose Petals & Rice to bring you cooking demonstrations of real Indian food in between the music.

Zalena from Rose Petals & Rice will be cooking with a selection of our fine produce, teaching you how to get superb Indian flavours at home & the best bit – allowing you to sample some of these beautiful dishes.

We will also be selling some full sized portions over the lunch period, so if you fancy trying some authentic, freshly cooked Indian food come and see us between 12-2 on the Saturday & Monday of the festival.

As you know the Oxtail & Trotter team are committed to the pursuit of excellence, so when Zalena from Rose Petals & Rice suggested we get together before the festival to taste what is on the menu we agreed immediately – a purely selfless act to ensure that the good people of Audlem eat well whilst enjoying the line-up of talent at the Audlem Music Festival.

We taste tested Tandoori chicken (we think the chicken thighs work best with this beautiful marinade) & Indian spiced rump steak kebabs with flat bread & raita and they are sublime, a really subtle but deep flavour that really is ridiculously easy to eat.

We will be confirming the cooking demo times and the final menu in due course so please keep an eye out!

We look forward to seeing you over the festival weekend, if not before!
