Crewe was busy and excited yesterday as the Olympic Torch went through the town early in the morning.
A good number of Audlem Online readers were there. Our thanks to Phil Baker and Sylvia Davies for sending us their photographs.
It's been estimated that 70,000 turned at towns in Cheshire East and at Tatton Park near Knutsford. Crowds in Crewe were said to be ten-deep or more in places.
