Olympic champion praises Audlem cyclist

Junior member of the Audlem Cycling Club, Olivia Ball (11years), took part in her first ever time trial this week on the Saighton course near Chester. She completed the 10 miles in an excellent time of 39:16 – an average speed of just over 15mph.

Other riders and marshals cheered her on around the course and also in attendance (although not taking part) was GB Cycling Team Olympic gold medalist Rebecca Romero who made a point of talking to Olivia and offering her congratulations on her achievement – quite a start to your racing career!

This was the last event in the local evening club 10 series so Livvi will be out to improve on her time in the Spring
