Yesterday, Audlem Online reported on the walk by four members of Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) who have just completed the 177 mile Offa's Dyke National Trail which runs from Sedbury Cliffs near Chepstow to Prestatyn in North Wales.

Today, we bring some photographs from the expedition, which are also displayed in the Galleries section under Sports

Christine Johnson, John Cooke Andy Davidson and Chris Roche completed the walk in stages over nearly a year, starting last September.

We've arranged the photographs from south to north. Starting at Chepstow Castle in the beautiful Wye Valley; then at the highest point of the walk on the Black Mountains in mist; Newcastle-on-Clun, at the beginning of the walk to Montgomery, roughly half way along the trail; and finally, at Bodfari, before setting out on the final stage to Prestatyn on the North wales coast.

The photographs were taken by Christine Johnson, who has been 'official' photographer on many ARS expeditions.
