NSPCC fund-raising successes

The Audlem NSPCC committee is delighted to announce that its September door-to-door collection raised £904, which is a record for this local branch. In addition, the coffee morning held on Saturday 21st October in the Methodist School Room raised £235 with the likelihood of a further £100+ still to come from commission from the sale of Christmas cards.

Many thanks to all who contributed to these events in any way.

And there's another opportunity to help raise funds for the NSPCC by attending the "Festive Flowers" demonstration to be given by local floral artist, Sue Poole on Friday 17th November at 7.30pm in the Public Hall. The evening promises to be a great one with Sue showing us how to produce fantastic flower arrangements for Christmas. Tickets are available from Vi Pritchard who can be contacted on 01270 811833. They are priced at £8, which includes a complimentary drink and a light supper.
