NSPCC fundraising events

The local branch of the NSPCC sold bric-a-brac and cakes on their stall under the Buttermarket on Saturday 8 May. They raised £178 and would like to thank everyone who contributed in any way.

Their next fundraising event will be held trom 2.30 to 6.00 pm on Saturday 10 July in the beautiful grounds of Foxes Bank Cottage, Bridgemere Lane, Hunsterston, Nantwich CW3 0EY. It will be a champagne and strawberry event. Tickets, priced at £7.50 each, are available from local committee members, tel 01270 811833. The ticket price includes the first glass of champagne plus a helping of strawberries and cream.
