A member of the local NSPCC branch committee has contacted Audlem Online to report on the outstanding success of their recent coffee morning.

On the morning of Saturday 20th October they took over the Scout and Guide Hall with cakes, Christmas cards, toiletries, bric a brac, jewellery, a tombola, Christmas decorations and many more items on offer. Thanks to the people who called in and supported the event the magnificent total of £360 was raised – which is the most they have ever raised at a coffee morning. Their sincere thanks goes to all involved for making the event such a success.

And if you want to continue to support the NSPCC, look out for the leaflets due to appear in the local shops which will enable you to contact Santa. For a small donation you can order a personalised letter from Santa to be sent to the child or children of your choice. Or you could even send a letter as a fun seasonal gift for your friends, family or colleagues!
