Nightingale or not?

Mike Harthern writes that he has consulted a bird expert who believes that the photograph is in fact a nightingale.

A number of other suggestions, such as a Whitethroat, and of course a few passing references to a famous Monty Python sketch, have been received but the expert's view is particularly interesting as it would indicate that nightingales have moved further north than their normal range.
