Next Walk – ARS (Audlem Rambling Society)

Christine Johnson is leading the next Short ARS, the Highfield Circuit (clockwise), on Saturday 28th January meet Audlem Car Park at 9 am.

Route description

From the village, up Holmes Bank, across fields, Kinsey Heath, some road walking then through Highfields parkland and fields, via Hawksmoor Farm to the canal at Adderley Bridge 72 and back along the towpath. It is approximately six miles and mainly flat walking, with 2-3 stiles but almost certainly will be muddy in places.

We'll be back in the village by lunchtime but will have a coffee break en route

NB All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.

Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.

Non-members of Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two
