Next Saturday's sleigh ride

Yesterday we published the route Santa will take on Friday 8th December around Hankelow, Buerton and Chapel End. The following day, Saturday 9th, the sleigh will concentrate on Audlem.

Setting out at 6.00pm from the Buerton direction, Santa will travel down the Woore Road and turn into Salford. He then follows a route along Heathfield Road, Monks Lane, Little Heath, Daisy Bank Crescent, Emberton Place and then into Broadways. There's a turn into Sycamore Close before travelling down to Hillary Drive and then to Stafford Street. Then it's towards the centre of the village taking in Vicarage Lane and then turning to go up Cheshire Street to Broadways before returning again to the village centre.

It should now be about 8.00pm and the tour will travel along Vicarage Gardens and Windmill Drive before concluding the evening at Brookfield Golf Club at 8.45pm.

Santa will be accompanied throughout by his elves who will be carrying collecting boxes. Please give generously as the sleigh ride is organised by ASET and Nantwich Round Table who support numerous local good causes. Tomorrow, we give the route for Sunday evening.
