This walk starts in Llandrillo, which is near Corwen. There is a good sized free carpark with toilets.
The first half of the walk is along an old drovers road, which is also part of Tegid's way.
Part way along, there is a diversion to visit that Moel Ty Uchaf stone circle – it's a bit of a climb but worth it for the views!!
The track takes us to the Wayfairer Memorial, which commemorates one of the pioneers of off road cycling, Walter MacGregor Robinson.
The gentle return path takes us through a forest and a few fields.
There is only one stile, as most have been replaced by gates, and, if the weather is good, the views should be spectacular.
There are lots of sheep on the first half of the walk so be prepared to have dogs on leads.
Most of the walk is on hard surfaces, with a little on grassy paths. Distance 7-10 miles, ascent 1400-2000ft, approximately *(depending on options!), although no really steep climbs.
Meet at Audlem carpark at 8 am (drive there is about 80 minutes).
Rating 3 boots.
