Newts in Audlem

Ponds are so important as a habitat for wildlife especially as many pieces of land get built on and natural habitat disappears.

I just wanted to share some photos of my thriving newt community in my small garden pond, they provide me with plenty of hours of entertainment and pleasure.

This time of year is when they are most active, I set up with my camera and spend hours by my pond especially as they are not easy to photograph, their frog friends are a little more accommodating at posing.
