New Year's Eve in Audlem

We have received the following email asking: "Will there be a gathering around the tree to let in the New Year please?

"This will be our first Christmas in the area and we would like to know if there is anything planned or a traditional gathering anywhere. Thank you."

New Year comes in with a bang in Audlem with fireworks at midnight and large numbers gathered in the Square around the Big Tree.

The bells of St James' church peal out and it's a lovely atmosphere. Our photo shows last year's fireworks from the Square.
