New Years Eve Fireworks.

'As reported here some days ago, I am seeking to repeat the glorious event on the 31st when we say farewell to this year and enter 2020 and whatever that may bring the country in what will be a new suit of clothes without being a member of Europe and all that we have enjoyed over the past 40 years or more.

So, to report as of now.

We have reached the needed funds to repeat the show we had last December thanks to the responses from those community minded amongst us here- who do give their support freely . Two very generous donations of over £200 made us reach the winning post! One of these from our own Sam of Flower Divas. A great gesture for this fabulous community of ours.

Accordingly,

1. 1130 ish- we will have the Muffled Bells ring out the old year.

With our superb team of campanologists.

2. 1200- Then the clock strikes the midnight hour.

3. 1203- The display will burst in the skies over the Square, with the wonderful chrysanthemum type displays we all love, overlaid to give the best and most dramatic effect. All the time aiming to keep explosions as quite as can be with no huge bangs etc and

4. Then the Church bells will ring forth as the New Year is welcomed in. And all that new year will bring to us- a dark unknown in many ways.
