New Years Eve Celebrations

I think that all will agree that we had a very special village evening on the 31st. The weather was perfect. The bells of our magnificent church were rung so well by Christine and the team of campanologists . And the firework display was very good with a fine Finale.

I planned with Blitz the company firing the shells that we should avoid extreme bangs for the sake of pets etc. But as it so happened , there were many dogs on the night amongst the some 600 plus who stood and filled the Square without any trouble to them.

Plus the many villagers who stayed at home but enjoyed the night sky as it lit up. A magical night . And no idiot yobs to spoil it nor climb the tree.
Now we begin the plan for the end of this year,2020.
