New Year's Eve Fireworks 2019

I write to make an appeal once more for the donations to our great event at the end of the year. The display that we had on the last day of the old year was superb and I think all enjoyed our mini Sydney show. It was great to see so many here in the square as the bells rang, the clock struck and the fireworks lit up the sky.

As many will know this was made possible by the reaction of so many residents hereabouts who made a contribution to the costs after the original funding bodies pulled out at such short notice leaving us with none in 2017 . In fact more than 150 folks who love this fantastic community that we enjoy here , contributed, and as a result I have a small pot of money kept back as seed corn for the 2019 display.

If you would be so kind as to help us put on such a fantastic show here in our little village then let me have your pledge or envelope ( can be dropped into the Lord Combermere for my attention.)

Sincere thank to all and a very happy new year for what is to be so demanding of all after the end of March
