New Year Celebrations

Locals and visitors alike welcomed 2006 in style last night. As always the music at the Shroppie Fly was superb, the village atmosphere was great, and the fireworks were stunning.

(The website link that was here no longer works) Some of the hundreds of partygoers went to town with fancy dress; with an unusually high proportion of Vikings making an appearance. All in all, a great night had by all, lets hope Audlem in 2006 is as good as 2005 was.

Any Vikings injured after a night of ravaging and plundering are advised to visit the Audlem surgery and ask to see the Norse!
