New Sign for Turnpike Field

Recent visitors will probably have noticed the four new oak signs that have been been erected at the three pedestrian entrances and also the vehicular entrance to the Turnpike on Green Lane.

It was deemed necessary that a summary of the key restrictions for using the field is visibly displayed. As an area dedicated to conservation and nature, the Working Group and Parish Council agreed that using natural materials (green oak) was far preferable to metal or plastic.
