New Parish Councillor co-opted

Audlem Parish Council has issued the following statement following the Parish Council meeting on Monday evening.

"At its meeting on Monday night, Audlem Parish Council voted to co-opt John Thompson of Swanbach onto the council.

"Councillors agreed that both candidates were very strong but, in a secret ballot by the councillors who were present, John Thompson, who has had a long association with Audlem, won the majority of the votes."
