New mats for indoor bowls

The Indoor Bowls club players in the Town Hall had their first experience of playing on their new mats today.

They found the pace of the new mats a bit difficult to adjust to at first, but once accustomed to the new surface, they seemed well satisfied.

The mats were mainly funded by a grant from Audlem Parish Council.
