Late in 2022, Audlem Public Hall was granted Social Franchise Status by Cheshire East Council.
Among other things, the Hall has received some cash designed to pay for the hire fees for new start-up "grass-roots" non-profit-making community groups, that might otherwise struggle to get going.
What this means in practice is that if you, possibly in association with other volunteers, would like to try to start up a group that meets regularly in one of the rooms in the Town Hall or the Annexe, then this funding would pay for the room hire fees for the first few sessions, after which the group would be expected to pay its own way, assuming that it kept going.
So we (Audlem Public Hall Management) would be delighted to hear from anyone who might be considering such an initiative, and we will be happy to discuss with you how it might be arranged.
