A local resident, Shane Thomson, writes to suggest: "Regarding speed bumps on Daisy Bank Crescent, I'm concerned about the traffic coming onto Daisy Bank. As you come round the right-hand bend, there is quite a long straight. A lot of vehicles tend to reach quite high speeds. I'm concerned with children who play on the green and who ride their bikes around the Crescent who, because of their age, do not understand the Highway Code and ride in between the parked cars."

"I worry, God forbid, there might be an accident. Would it be a good idea to have speed bumps on the Crescent to slow the cars down. What do other villagers think?"
