New Forest run for Macmillan

On Sunday September 27th I am running a half marathon in the New Forest.
I would like to raise some money for the memory of a good friend of ours who has just died (sadly one of several recently). We have chosen Macmillan Cancer Support.

Jane was a lovely friend our ours. Having successfully come though treatment for lung cancer, Jane then sadly died from complications arising from her brain cancer. Macmillan was fantastic with Jane and they do a wonderful service all over the country.

Chris and I thought that it would be a fitting tribute for me to do this run in her memory, and that of other friends who have also recently died from Cancer – Pete, John and Maggie, as well as an opportunity to raise money for one of the groups of people whose job it is to provide such considerate care.
