The Bridge Inn will feature a Neil Diamond tribute act on Saturday, 7th February. The Diamond Geezer is a great act and the Bridge says a fantastic night out for everyone is guaranteed.

It's a cast iron certainty that Sweet Caroline will make her presence felt on the night. Now one of the great sporting and festival sing-a-longs of all time, anyone who saw Neil Diamond's Glastonbury performance last summer will know the 1969-released number is as popular as ever. The song was apparently inspired by President J F Kennedy's daughter, Caroline, then aged 11. Now a few years older, she has been in the news only this week having decided not to run for the senate seat in New York vacated by Hillary Clinton.

The Diamond Geezer is said to be the UK's #1 Neil Diamond Tribute Artist. The evening at the Bridge will feature hits from the 50's to the present, Soul, Blues, Rock 'n' Roll, Rock etc. It all starts at 9.00pm.

With luck, there'll be many of Neil Diamond's great numbers in the show – the likes of I'm a Believer – written by Diamond for the Monkees – Cracklin' Rosie, his first US #1 hit; Song Sung Blue and Coming to America as well as Sweet Caroline. It should be a great night for music fans – and it's in Audlem on 7th February.
