Names for Archive photographs

June and Nigel Hendley are helping the History Society attach names to faces in some of the old photos in the Archive – reached from the AudlemOnline Homepage.

Working in Moseley's shop, they knew everyone in the village!

Their latest contribution can be found by clicking on pushpins on the photo of the Royal Observer corps (search 'Observer') and also a group at Manor court in c. 1947 (search 1947).

I am supplying them with some more to keep up the challenge which they are relishing.

Two new photos of Buerton School Christmas Plays 1964 and '65 (kindly lent by Anne Pearce) have also been loaded. Copies have been going round and people have been adding names but it has not come back to me so I can't do the Pushpins yet!

Perhaps others would like to look at them and tell me some names while I am waiting for the copies to be returned!
