The Sunday of live music at the Lord Combermere on 7th November raised £532.61 for the The Paul Murfin Foundation for Young Drummers.

All there enjoyed a day of excellent music whilst supporting a worthy local charity. The Foundation was set up in memory of Paul Murfin, a local drummer who tragically died in a motorbike accident last year.

Paul was a delightful man and an inspirational percussionist who performed regularly at the Audlem Festival.

Many of the musicians who worked with Paul over the years played at the Murfjam including rock/pop sensations Live Wires, Smoke Screen, Doog and the Gang, the Greg Murray Band and Audlem favourite Mark Stevens. Plus, lots of guests.
