MP's surgery later this month

Audlem's Member of Parliament, Stephen O'Brien, plans to hold an individual surgery in the village on Friday 23rd November 2007. This will take place in the Committee Room at the Public Hall from 5.00pm. While he is in the village, Spephen O'Brien has offered to make himself available for an open discussion or a forum where individuals or representatives can raise appropriate issues he should be aware of or needing his support. If you have any thoughts on this, please also let Jenny Owen know.

An example may be the roads issue where Mr O'Brien has already made representations to the Minister of Transport – more on this in the next couple of days. A letter is being sent to the Minister – his letter about the A525 was published on Audlem Online on 18th October and in the Parish Council newsletter. The response was agreed yesterday by the Community Projects Group yesterday, a group that includes three parish councillors and representatives from the Parish Plan.
