The mouse that fancied whisky

Following Ann Tilling's article this morning about trying to catch a mouse, we liked this story from Judy Evans:

I can fully sympathise with Ann Tilling's tale of at least one bad mouse! Over Christmas I had left an undelivered, fully wrapped Xmas present in the boot of my brand new car. It was a boxed bottle of whisky – destined for an ex-neighbour in Wales.

Imagine my horror when a few days later I opened the boot to see a mass of shredded paper and cardboard, and some rather neat small holes, nibbled at the corner of the present ! Now, if there's one thing worse than a mouse, surely its an alcoholic mouse!

Fortunately, it was unable to master the art of undoing the screw cap – so the whisky remains intact. Following this shock discovery, I have laid some chocolate laden traps in the car boot (and removed the whisky), but to no avail – it would seem that the pesky little visitor has fled!
