More successful Balsam pulling

Wednesday afternoon saw 6 volunteers working hard on Turnpike so as to help remove and control the Himalayan Balsam.

Chris Middleton led the group — hopefully there weren't any lost in the undergrowth!!

This year has definitely been good for Balsam – and indeed many other plants/weeds judging by the huge size of brambles and giant nettles.
