More on the Mill book sale

In the recent announcement, Peter and Chris Silvester at Audlem Mill said that they would be selling second-hand books and OS maps, with all proceeds going to Audlem Aid to Cancer Research.

However, the announcement was perhaps confusing, with some people thinking that it was a one day sale. It is not – it will be a permanent feature at the Mill.

Peter and Chris are asking for donations of books from anyone who reads this article. Though the Mill concentrates on canals/transport and needlework, in fact any fiction, or non-fiction books on any subject, are welcome. So, if you have any books or OS maps of any kind, please bring them in to Audlem Mill (who reserve the right to say 'no' if they get inundated!).

Please visit Audlem Mill regularly and buy a few books for a good cause. As previously advised, customers will be able to buy books, or swap a book they bring in for another for a small charge.
