More on April 1st stories

As most of our readers will be aware, the first day of April is a bit special for the webteam and the news stories that day are always a tad questionable.

We are delighted to report that one local journalist (fear not, your identity will not be revealed) called asking for more details on the underground car park story. Mind you, when you think about it, a car park underneath the playing field might be the perfect solution to the village's parking problems.

With reference to the photo for the 'First Village of the North' story, seen here, spare a thought for the webteam searching for a suitable photo on Google. They have learnt the hard way in future to google 'Giant Cockerel' rather than using a slightly shorter search version of cockerel!

On another note, for those that applied to buy a Dementopad, manufacture is proceeding at a pace and yours will be with you as soon as the machines are available.
