Mill Lane closed today

A road closure notice says: "Cheshire East Borough Council, in exercise of its powers under
Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, issues this notice temporarily to prohibit traffic in the following length of road:-
Mill Lane, Audlem from its junction with A525 Whitchurch Road to its junction with A529 Green Lane.

The closure is necessary to enable Torrent Trackside Limited to carry out a railway bridge examination.

The alternative diversion route will be via; A525 Whitchurch Road, A529 Green Lane and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained for
emergency vehicles and residents.

It is anticipated that the works will be carried out on Wednesday 17th July 2013, between 10:00 – 16:00 hours."
