We are delighted to announce the line-up for this year's Midsummer Music on the Park on 17th July. As this is ASET's 10th annual musical picnic in the park, we have gone all out to make it the best ever – a night to remember with not one but two fantastic headline acts.

Returning after the success of last year's Midsummer Music, we welcome The WestEnders who will entertain us with a variety of songs from shows like Grease, Mama Mia, Oliver, Sound of Music, WestSide Story, Les Miserables and more. With new song and some favourites from last year, the WestEnders are sure to entertain.

Our opening headline act this year has been described as "more than just the world's greatest swing band". They are King Pleasure & the Biscuit Boys. The band have been on the road for two decades playing every European country as well as the USA and Russia and recording ten CDs.

Dazzling musicianship, riveting stage performances, more than 50 TV appearances and 75 radio broadcasts have established them as the Kings of Swing. Paul Jones of BBC Radio 2 said of the "Kings of Swing" – "the hardest act to follow since the parting of The Red Sea" so look out WestEnders, follow that!

Tickets will go on sale soon priced £12 for adults and £6 for children. Tickets can be reserved at Audlem Post Office now.

Other events for 2010Sunday 20th June – Audlem Festival of Transport This year's transport festival will feature hundreds of vintage vehicles. In addition and new this year, a children's quad bike course, helter-skelter and children's treasure hunt plus the usual stalls and attractions. Saturday 6th November – Bonfire and Fireworks Spectacular Our famous traditional bonfire and fireworks evening returns to amaze us all.
