A message for those not on the Internet

OK, we admit it, this on-line announcement is rather like the famous snooker TV commentary: "For those watching in black & white, the pink ball is behind the blue". But, for those of you not reading this story because of a lack of computer access, or an internet connection, help is at hand.

Audlem Online can now be accessed from two terminals installed in Williams' newsagents in the Square. Installation took place yesterday and is free to use in the Tourist Information section of the shop. This doesn't mean there's an internet café in the village: the machines are only connected to Audlem Online.

So, for all our readers who self-evidently do have an Internet connection, please tell everyone else who might want to use the new facility. Hopefully, it will also be of benefit to the many visitors to Audlem. And, we hope, it will increase Audlem Online's readership even more.
