All is going well and we have now filmed and recorded many groups and solos singing the song, 'Amazing Grace', a total of over 600 men, women and children!

Our task yesterday – Sunday – was to capture all in St James' Church for the service and two
baptisms plus the very excellent campanologists. All on all this take took 6 hours with set up times, recording and filming twice.

We have about another 300 people to go as we cover the school, Probus club and wives, Audlem Marina and staff, RNLI team, etc, etc.

Then we work with a massed singing on the 29th – next Saturday at 12.30 in the Square – of everybody who will come and sing the song 'Amazing Grace' on the Church mound (free baps and chips in The Lord C afterwards) – plus Sunday to record the Methodist church congregation.

We also have ideas for some other individuals plus Steve Overland and Jim Kirkpatrick playing on the church bank. We also have a contribution from New York of Sally Keighley singing for the cause.

Printing of the DVD cover has been agreed and is being undertaken free by Joe Sheldon of Audlem Printers. Pressing of the disc is being done at minimal cost by Downstream.Co

Then we plan to launch it on about the 10th December for sale here and around. Plus YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc as we hope to go viral!

John Gunstone has a truly mammoth task in editing all – plus Alisdair McKenzie is producing an out-takes film that will go out as well.

Great fun – and all for this wonderful cause. All from a casual conversation at the bar with Tim Lawton of TPL. What a place this is!

More news as the days go by. But do please come to the centre of the village on the 29th at 12.30 – by that wonderful Christmas tree now in place thanks to the ADAS team.

Remember – free chip baps after the singing in the Lord Combermere.
