Good to his word, after AudlemOnline contacted him, John sent the material which we are sure will be of much interest. Our warmest thanks to him and the Scottish Ironwork Foundation.
We are sure there is much more that can be said about the memorial which was recently featured on BBC1 North West Tonight in their coverage of Mend our Mum and in a talk at the Wellcome Trust in London.
If anyone has further information, we will be delighted to publish it.
