Part-time 16--20 hours
SALARY Grade 6

Depending on qualifications and experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a nurse either contemplating a career in Practice Nursing or who have prior experience. Candidates who require training and are willing to attend courses to attain the necessary qualifications will be given equal consideration – the ideal candidate will need to exhibit enthusiasm and commitment to developing the role.

The successful candidate will ultimately become a fully experienced Practice Nurse who can carry out the full range of nursing skills, plus Asthma, COPD, CVD and Diabetes care, family planning, cervical cytology, Health promotion and Triage.

We are a multi-professional Practice team of 4 GPs, 2 Practice nurses, 2 HCA's and an extended PHCT. We are a friendly, busy rural practice in modern, purpose built premises, fully computerised

The applicant should be highly motivated, able to work as part of our team and be willing to provide holiday and sickness cover. Personal and Professional development is actively encouraged.
