A reminder that tomorrow sees the Southern Planning Committee meet at the Municipal Buildings in Crewe.
The application for the proposed McCarthy & Stone Retirement Village – planning applciation 17/5776N which can be viewed here – is item seven on the agenda for the meeting.
There has been a late update to the application on the agenda for the meeting, which can be viewed here.
The summary of the update document is this:
The original planning documents make it clear that Audlem Parish Council, as reported last Friday, has objected to the development on grounds including the loss of affordable housing as part of the plan, questions concerning the accuracy of the sustainability of the plan (including the distances quoted to local services given that occupants would be slower and less mobile) and being in general contrary to the Neighbourhood Plan.
