Maynards range at The Deli

The Deli, now run by Gareth and Diane Hardy, is pleased to announce that is now stocking what will be an ever-widening range of Maynards products, including sausages, bacons, ham, gammon and beef.

Maynards Farm Bacon and Hams are still cured and smoked on the farm using many of the same methods and recipes used in the 17th Century when the Journeyman Master Curer travelled from farm to farm collecting recipes as he went.

Maynards, located not far away in Shropshire, have received the accolade of being one of the  Rick Stein Super Heroes alongside some of the best food producers in Great Britain.

Best sellers include Maynards streaky bacon, oak smoked back bacon and old fashioned English bacon while Traditional Dry Cure and Wild Honey Back Bacon are popular too. 

Old fashioned sausage recipes, hand made, include Shropshire, Staffordshire, Cumberland, Redcastle, Pork and Apple, Pork and Leek – the list is endless!

Cheshire Sweet Cure ham is available as Ham on the Bone or Gammon Slices. Maynards say: "Nothing beats the flavour of a succulent roast ham, glazed with Maynards's Mustard and Shropshire Honey, cut into thick slices and served with parsley sauce or eaten cold with a selection of our pickles – the perfect Shropshire Ploughman's lunch."
