A man suffered serious hand injuries after being trapped in farm machinery at Sound, near Audlem.
Fire crews from Audlem were called out to help cut the victim free from farm machinery.
The unnamed man suffered severe hand injuries in the incident on premises on Whitchurch Road, Broomhall on Tuesday morning.
Fire crews from Audlem and Nantwich found the man with his hand trapped by the chassis of a tractor and they used specialist cutting equipment to free him.
The casualty was treated by paramedics at the scene at about 10.45am. His condition today is not known.
