PEOPLE IN AUDLEM ENJOY AFTERNOON OF GIN TASTING AT LYME WOOD GRANGE

People in Audlem recently tasted a super selection of gins at an exclusive event held at McCarthy and Stone's Lyme Wood Grange Retirement Living development on Mckelvey Way.

Lyme Wood Grange was a hive of activity, with residents and local retirees enjoying a fantastic array of gin samples while finding out more about their favourite tipples, provided by the Gin Jam Bar, a mobile bar service. Attendees were treated to everything from flavoured gins to the perfect tonic.

The event also saw McCarthy and Stone donate £200 to the Overwater Wheely Boat Services, as well as a resident from Lyme Wood Grange agreeing to become a volunteer for the organisation. The Overwater Wheely Boat Services is a non-profit making enterprise run in conjunction with The Wheelyboat Trust to provide boat trips on the Shropshire Union Canal, one of the most scenic canals in the country.
