Lucy Hollins' 100th birthday

A reminder that it will be the 100th birthday of Lucy Hollins shortly. Many will know her and remember her walking sprightly up to the village along Stafford Street when well in to her 90s.

She does not want a lot of fuss but I am sure she will be pleased to see people she knows if they want to call at Wrenbury Nursing home in Wrenbury Hall Drive on or near the day, which is Sunday 28th August.

Today, Friday 26th August, Wrenbury Nursing home are having a summer fete to raise money for extras for residents – for example those who are state funded do not have hairdressing paid for. 

It starts at 11.00am and will continue until about 4.00pm.  Car boot and usual stalls.
