Lost cash

George Beaman writes: "I have been reading about the money lost by British counties in the failed Icelandic banks. Cheshire has lost £8,500,000. Welsh counties have lost in total £35,000,000. Caerphilly alone has lost £15,000,000. That's an awful lot of cheese.

"I could not find Shropshire on the list. So let me say again what I have said before: forget taking Audlem into Wales – think about taking Audlem into Shropshire." GB
