Lord Combermere to be Audlem's first non-smoking pub

When its refurbishment is completed in January, the Lord Combermere will re-open as a non-smoking pub – Audlem's first to ban smoking. Under new Government proposals, which will come into effect in 2007, all pubs that serve food, such as the Combermere, will not be able to allow smoking anywhere inside. Any pub not serving food will have to prohibit smoking in the bar area.
